Chris Morphew has been hunting his whole life. When he bought Sandy Ranch in the Hill Country outside Johnson City, Texas, the goal was simple — create a place where serious hunters could come and focus on the hunt without worrying about the details.

Sandy Ranch sits in Blanco County, less than an hour from both San Antonio and Austin. The property offers guided hunts for whitetail deer, Rio Grande turkey, feral hog, blackbuck antelope, addax, and more. The land is managed year-round with the hunt in mind.

When you book with Sandy Ranch Outfitters, everything is taken care of. Ranch transportation, guided hunts, field dressing, and access to the property's fishing and outdoor spaces are all part of the experience. On-site meals are available for an additional fee.

Chris and his team have been hosting hunters and guests for years. The people who come here tend to come back.
